Las Vegas has seen ground-breaking franchise development over the last decade. In 2017, the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights became the first major sports franchise to represent the area followed by the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces after their relocation from San Antonio. It was only a matter of time for the NFL to follow suit and, in 2020, it did just that. The Las Vegas Raiders played their first home game at Allegiant Stadium that year and, following COVID-19, hosted their first game with fans in attendance during the 2021 season.

Founded in 1960, the Raiders split their home games at Kezar Stadium and Candlestick Park, both located in San Francisco, before playing exclusively at Candlestick Park in 1961. The team temporarily moved to Frank Youell Field through 1965 until construction of the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum was complete.

From 1982 through the 1994 season, the Raiders briefly moved to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Ultimately, the decision was made to move back to Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in 1995, where they would remain until the opening of Allegiant Stadium in 2020.

With the divisional playoff games underway, you can get a jump on your Super Bowl LVIII pin collection now. Also, be sure to keep an eye out for championship and dangler pins as the Super Bowl approaches.
